Smiles!

I love this day of newborn-hood: the first legitimate smiles! Smiles up until now have been unintentional. There’s something about these first smiles that just melt my heart. So in love!

Hi, Sweetheart! And I promise he isn't sunburned. The color's just off and I'm not very a very good photo editor.

Brother and Sister

These two have been pretty busy lately. Their days have been filled with preschool (for Amelie), lots of playtime together, and enjoying “Baby Easton” (as Calder always calls him).

I’ll admit, going from two kids to three, or maybe just having a new baby in the house, has had its difficult moments and has been a major adjustment. Luckily, Easton is a doll–very “easy” as far as babies go. I’m just trying to learn how to juggle the needs of three children and actually get us places on time. But it gets easier every day and I’m grateful for the chance motherhood has given me to grow and improve.
