Hide and Seek

Easton is such a delight. Even when he’s grumpy, I can’t get enough of him. Lately, he’s been big into games. His two favorites are Hide and Seek and Musical Chairs. The other day, he pulled a chair out into the living room, turned on some music, and ran around and around the chair, having his own little game of Musical Chairs. Playing Hide and Seek with him is hilarious. He never wants to count, only hide. He’ll run off and tell you where he’s planning on hiding and if you say, “Hmmm…where could Easton be?” he’ll yell out and let you know exactly where he is. My favorite is walking in and finding him “hiding” out in the open with his hands over his eyes. If he can’t see us, we can’t see him, right? He asks to play Hide and Seek several times a day. In the car on our way home from a family dinner the other night, his little voice piped up from his seat:

E: Knock knock!

M: Who’s there?

E: Hide and seek!

M: Hide and Seek who?

E: You play Hide and Seek, me?

Love this little guy.
