New House Week 17
2 weeks until our closing date! I’m getting so excited. Lots of butterflies in my stomach! When Bryce went by the house today, they had installed the correct flooring. Here’s a look at the wrong (though nice looking) flooring:
Kind of uniform look on each plank, with dark edging on each one.

We love this flooring! It has a lot of character. Lowlights and highlights, different tones, and it’s a nicer product, too.
I can’t wait to see it clean! Right now it’s covered in dust and dirt from the workers.
I love this flooring! So much variation and lovely colors.

Master bathroom vanity. The counter tops actually have some flecks of sparkle and slight variations in color. It’s a really pretty material.

New House Week 16
Time for the weekly update!
How do you like the floors? Well, just don’t get too attached. These are actually the wrong floors. They’ll be ripping this up and installing the flooring we actually ordered early next week. Costly mistake for somebody!

New House Week 15
Over Thanksgiving, we were able to stop by the house. Mark, Brenda, Brett, and Christy came by, too. We were delighted to see that the cabinetry had been installed. Hooray!
