As of the 24th of this month, Bryce and I have been married 10 years! Makes me feel a little old, but mostly it makes me feel grateful. It’s been a wonderful 10 years! Pretty much since we got married, Bryce and I had planned on going to Paris to celebrate our 10th anniversary. However, we ended up building our house this past year and using our Paris savings for that. We still want to go–it’s Bryce’s favorite city and I’ve never been to Europe–so now we’re thinking we’ll go for our 15th anniversary. To celebrate this year, we spent a weekend in Park City. Three days, two nights, plenty of time to read, order room service, enjoy Main Street (over 19 art galleries along that one street!), enjoy yummy food, see some movies, and spend time together. It was so relaxing.

We splurged and had the most delicious dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The restaurant is in the hotel and was the nicest restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. Rose petals for our anniversary.

This was my favorite bite of the weekend–the most delicious banana cream pie I have ever tasted. Carmelized bananas topped a creamy banana filling in an individual pie crust. Beyond words.
All in all, it was a great weekend. I love Park City and kept telling Bryce that we should retire there when we’re old and gray.
And from a recent photo shoot, here’s our family after 10 years (Calder’s expression is my favorite part!):
