For Christmas, Bryce and I got the kids a keyboard. It’s pretty nice, with full-size partially weighted keys. Well, Amelie took this gift and ran with it! She started doing online lessons through Hoffman Academy and is on lesson 50 now. She sits at the keyboard for hours and hours practicing and learning. She can now read simple music, knows the note names and about the different note lengths, and she is just having so much fun! She decided that she wanted to teach herself how to play Fur Elise, so we printed off a simple arrangement for her. She wanted to me to share this video of her playing. We’re amazed that in a couple of weeks, she’s come so far and has learned so much. We’re excited to see how far she goes!

We took Amelie on a date to Color Me Mine for her Christmas present. She painted this darling fox and Bryce did this cool yarn technique on his mug.

And Bryce. I just found this random picture on his phone of…his bed hair? But it’s pretty classic, so I thought everyone should see it. I’m sure he’ll appreciate it.
