Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Happy belated Halloween, everyone! We had fun this year dressing up as Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Amelie was Goldilocks, I was Mama Bear, Bryce was Papa Bear, and Calder was, of course, Baby Bear. Amelie enjoyed the ward Trunk-or-Treat and Bryce taught her the ins and outs of trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, the party got rained out early. Saturday night, we went to another Halloween party. We’ve gone to this party (hosted by Michelle’s sister and brother-in-law) since Bryce and I were dating, so it’s become a tradition. Here are some pictures from our Halloween weekend:

Baby Bear, cozy and warm in his winter outfit that doubles as a costume.

The whole crew, homemade bear ears and all.

We couldn't resist getting a picture of Calder and his cousin Hayley (born at the end of August), especially since she was Tigger and he was wearing a Pooh Bear outfit.

  1. So Fun! I love it that you all dressed up to a common theme! I remember one year when a bunch of you dressed up as Toy Story characters! A friend of mine who has 6 boys dressed up this year as the 7 dwarfs (her husband was one of them too) and she was Snow White.–Next year we’ll try to use some creativity and think of a theme to dress up to as well!

  2. Hi Raven!! Calder is adorable! Congrats on the new addition! We moved back to utah for about 3 weeks and turned around and came back to Indiana. Everything was such a crazy whirlwind that I didn’t have time to think! But I wanted to say hi here! your kids are so cute, and the 3 bears & goldilocks idea is awesome! How is your thesis going? I hope you are doing well! Keep in touch!
